I thought it was gonna be sticky and heavy on my lips but it was lightweight and non-greasy 10-10 glow recipe its a must have it does not have a overpowering scent and is a great substitute for the lanaige lip sleeping mask! 🎀

glow recipe is a brand that i swear by and have recommended a lot of my friends but recently have noticed how dry and cracked it leaves my lips after just one use and it takes weeks to heal. I was really in denial so i kept giving it a chance a few times but now i'm almost certain that this product has to do with it. So i quickly came here to check the reviews and to my surprise i only found one that had the exact same issue as me! I wonder what causes it because i have never had any skin or lip complications at all. i have the most normal skin not really sensitive to anything so i'm just curious what went wrong with this. i got this balm a year ago and just recently started using it regularly so is it because it expired? but a year is a short shelf life and if that is the case the consumers must know! anyways nothing against the brand it's just my lips feel so crusty now and whatever i try to fix them it just doesn't work. only time will heal and it's gonna take at least a week :(

Any products of ours purchased from a reputable and authorized retailer will not be expired. It's more likely that your skin/lips simply didn't love this formula and that's totally understandable since all skin is unique. I have very dull dry lips and the Plum Gloss Balm brought them to LIFE!!! It’s a beautiful gloss over lips with and without lipstick, and I swear by it. My lips stay hydrated and feel better after wearing it consistently. So not only do they look plump and healthy, they are actually naturally healing from this balm. The best product from Glow Recipe.

Of the many many lip balms I’ve tried, this was one of the worst. When you start talking your lips stick together. If you take a sip of a cup etc it sticks to your lips. It’s almost glue like texture. It isn’t soft. What annoys me the most is that it did nothing to my dry lips. I got this in a beauty box and the next day my got rid of it.
Glow Recipe1 week agoHi Nicole! Thanks for your honest review. We're so sorry to hear the Plum Plump Hyaluronic Gloss Balm didn't work well for you - that sticky texture sounds really frustrating! This formula is definitely on the glossier side which some people love for that plumping effect, but we totally understand it's not for everyone. Since it didn't help with your dry lips either, it sounds like this just wasn't the right fit for your needs. We have other lip products that might be more your style, like our Glass Balms which have a much lighter, non-sticky feel. Feel free to reach out if you'd like any recommendations for something that might work better for you!

After my 3 kids, this has helped SO much! My lips feel so so cracked and dry after pregnancy, and are severely in need of hydration! This has done wonders, even more than aquaphor and vaseline. I know that people may be a bit skeptical over the price, but the scent and flavor are 100% worth it! Order as many as you can I promise this will be your best purchase in awhile!
