Formulated to target dehydration, irritation, and redness, this lightweight milky texture wraps sensitive skin in a healing layer of actives to restore skin to its natural, healthy state. This innovative recipe is created with a blend of powerful plant-based ingredients such as nutrient-rich avocado extract + butter, strengthening ceramides, and calming allantoin and rice milk to help strengthen and recover irritated, compromised skin.

      Antioxidant-rich ingredients packed with Oleic and linoleic acids to effectively smooth and moisturize dry, chapped skin.

      Ceramide-5

      Five skin-identical ceramides that help reduce redness by supporting skin barrier health. These ceramides were chosen because they are identical to the ceramides already present in the skin’s lipid barrier, enabling them to absorb efficiently.       After cleansing, toning, and applying eye cream, dispense 1-2 pumps of Avocado Ceramide Recovery Serum and gently pat onto slightly damp face and neck until fully absorbed. Follow with your favorite moisturizer to seal everything in place. Apply daily, AM and PM. Keep in a cool, dry place--away from direct light.

      What is Ceramide-5 and why do I need it in my skincare routine?

      5 ceramides specifically chosen because they are identical to the ceramides already present in skin. Combined, Ceramide-5 acts as the most effective combination of ceramides for the skin barrier. With age, environmental factors, and diet, our skin’s ceramide levels can become compromised resulting in: dry, irritated, itchy, red skin. Applying a topical source of ceramides helps prevent and repair the look of irritation on the skin barrier, while alleviating skin discomfort.

      Is this suitable for acne prone, oily skin?

      The formula is great for acne prone or oily skin due to its lightweight fast absorbing texture. Research has shown that a weakened skin barrier may contribute to acne formation. Because ceramides are instrumental in skin barrier function, this formula works well on all skin types.

      Moisturizing 😁

      This product has helped my skin stay hydrated all day. I use this serum because I needed something light and protective. My skin gets dry very easily, but I haven’t seen any dryness with this in my routine. I would be buying this again.

      It soothes and hydrates my skin.. I have noticed such a difference in my skin texture and my fine lines… I have been using Glow Recipe for over 4 years now and will never go back. I have tried much more expensive products in price and none have come even close to the results of these products.
