Great for all ages, including younger skin, this routine harnesses the power of clinically effective actives—PHA, BHA and salicylic acid helps visibly tighten pores & instantly blur and pairs it with gentle, hydrating ingredients including hyaluronic acid and watermelon extract to keep skin balanced for your clearest skin yet!

"If prone to breakouts and blemishes, it is especially important to look for ingredients like exfoliating acids, including alpha and beta-hydroxy acids, which help to exfoliate while also working to unclog the pores. Beta hydroxy acids also help to reduce excess oil. Ingredients like niacinamide can also help to regulate sebum production, while niacinamide and azelaic acid can help to improve the appearance of blemishes and discoloration, which can sometimes occur after a breakout." -Dr. Garshick

  1. Blueberry Cleanser: "This gentle but effective cleanser works to remove dirt, oil, and buildup from the day without leaving the skin feeling dry or stripped. In general, for someone who is oily or breakout-prone, it can be best to use this cleanser twice daily."
  2. Watermelon Toner: "A helpful step after cleansing, this toner helps to eliminate excess oil. BHA is an essential ingredient in any clear skin routine because BHAs help to unclog the pores and reduce overall oil. When you pair that with a gentle exfoliating like PHA you are able to both remove dead skin cells and improve texture and tone while still helping to address clogged pores. It remains gentle on the skin as it contains watermelon extract and cactus water which help to hydrate and nourish the skin."
  3. Strawberry Serum: "A great option for those with oily or breakout-prone skin or those who are experiencing hormonal changes,, this serum contains salicylic acid to help address excess oil and unclog the pores, without irritating the skin. It also contains other key ingredients like mandelic acid and azelaic acid to help address blemishes. It can be used at nighttime after cleansing and prior to moisturizing."
  4. Strawberry Blur Drops: "These are a great option for daily use helping to reduce the appearance of pores and excess shine while also having a mattifying effect, helping to reduce excess shine. At the same time, it uses an encapsulated beta hydroxy acid to help gently exfoliate the skin, improving overall texture. It can be used as a step after toner prior to moisturizing or as a makeup primer to be applied after moisturizing."

Watermelon Moisturizer: "This oil-free moisturizer is lightweight so is a great option for someone with oily skin as it won’t clog the pores but will still moisturize the skin, leaving it feeling softer and smoother. It is important to remember that even those with oily skin still need moisturizer, it is just important to select the right one. This contains a blend of watermelon extract, hyaluronic acid and antioxidants to hydrate while also protecting the skin from environmental stressors."

"Depending on your skincare concern, it may be important to distinguish your AM routine and your PM routine. For example, an AM routine can be designed to protect and prevent, using ingredients that protect your skin from environmental stressors throughout the day, while your PM routine can be used to repair and restore, allowing the skin to recover."

What are the differences in how you treat younger vs more mature skin?

"When we are younger, it is important to remember to protect the skin and prevent damage before it occurs. This means helping to protect the skin against UV damage and supporting the skin barrier to help keep the skin glowing. Additionally, when we are younger we are more likely to experience increased sebum and oil production, making it important to help eliminate excess oil when possible. As we age, our skin barrier weakens and we lose moisture and the skin may start to feel and look more dry and dull. Skin cell turnover also slows down as we get older, so those with mature skin may look for products that deeply hydrate and moisturize the skin, while also helping to exfoliate."

When looking for a moisturizer, what are some key things to consider?

"When looking for a moisturizer, it is important to look at the ingredients. Look for products containing humectants like hyaluronic acid, which help to draw moisture in, as this helps to hydrate, while also plumping the skin. While it is important for those with all skin types to use moisturizer, if you are oily or acne-prone, it may be important to look for a product that is lightweight and oil-free so it won’t clog the pores."

Why are treatments/serums important to include in a routine at any age?

Definitely recommend for acne & redness!

I haven't had this long, but on the first 2 days of using these products, my face is already clearing up. My skin reacts fast to products, but it's never been this fast. The redness is also going down a bit, too. I was worried about the size of these products since they're mini, but a little goes a long way. These products also made my skin shiny and smooth but not in an oily way. The scents are very nice and don't clash, and my favourite is definitely the strawberry. Overall, great products for a fair price. Will definitely be repurchasing!

AMAZING

Hi all! I have had the worst acne all my life. Very hormonal and super cystic. I have been using glow recipes clear skin essentials for about 3 weeks and I have seen so much improvement. I still get small random break outs but nothing as bad as before. When I do get a zit my skin doesn’t boil up and get all red. They are only viable when you get up close. The redness in my skin has gone down and my skin tone has evened out. Also my skin looks sooooo glowy and dewy!!! I will continue to use these products! ❤️

HOLY GRAIL

As someone who struggles to find the perfect products for their skin, this has to be the best purchase I have ever made. It truly helped clear my skin and gives me such an amazing glow! Great kit!

Amazing kit! All of the products have lovely scents and textures. Great if you want an intro to glow recipe for acne-prone skin. My two favorite products from this kit were the Watermelon Glow PHA + BHA pore-tight toner and the strawberry blur drops. However, all of the products were exceptional. The reason that I didn't give this review five stars is that, for me, it wasn't a miracle kit. They are amazingly formulated products that show promising results, but for me, it wasn't an entire transformation like some of the other reviews might have implied. My acne is produced mainly by sugar and the environment, so this did help, but not to the extent that everyone else is saying. Of course, everyone’s skin is different, so listen to what your body tells you about your skin needs and concerns—no hate against these products at all. I will for sure be repurchasing the toner and strawberry blur drops. The strawberry serum is also fantastic for multi-purpose uses. The cleanser smells so good and gently cleanses. The moisturizer was too light for me, so I use that as a hydration serum. Thank you so much, Glow recipe for this amazing kit! I would recommend it to someone trying to figure out which glow recipe products work best for them! Xx 🍉🍓🫐
