Just as anti-aging creams once ruled the beauty aisles, today’s product-of-choice is the lifting cream. Formulated to help counteract and diminish fun things like sagging and loss of elasticity that come with aging, these toning potions work to both strengthen and tighten your skin, but also rebuild its very structure for increased firmness. They’re like an intense barre class for your face.Unfortunately, the majority of them are seriously lacking in the moisture department. And, since hydration also contributes to making skin look plump and bouncy, that’s kind of a big deal. Which is why when I tried ID.AZ Face Fit Lifting Cream, I had high expectations for the lifting aspect and mediocre expectations for its hydration capabilities. Well, Face Fit absolutely blew me away with how it transformed my skin, both in appearance and feel. The formulation itself is creamy and elegant, leaving skin smooth, soft, and supple, without any stickiness or tackiness. The secret is in the formula: It has an optimal dose of niacinamide, aka vitamin B3, that tackles everything from uneven skin tone to large pores. It’s also the secret weapon that helps strengthen the skin’s surface and create that face-firming effect. A mix of natural antioxidants, including turmeric, white lily, and a rose hybrid protect the skin from the free radicals that can cause aging. As for that hydration, Face Fit has a healthy dose of macadamia seed oil that moisturizes skin without feeling greasy. Lotus flower extract also adds an extra hit of moisture and soothes irritated skin in the process.Face Fit promises to do three things: Firm your complexion, increase elasticity and smoothing, and manage various age-related problems. After using it for a couple of weeks, I’d say it does the job beautifully. I applied the cream morning and evening to half of my face, neck, and decolletage. The area where I slathered it on looked refreshed, hydrated, even glowy a full 12 hours later. Fine lines and discoloration were less prominent, while my skin experienced an ample hit of moisture that lasted long into the evening despite my distinct lack of reapplication. Another great thing is that you really get the most bang for your buck as a little of this goes a long way. A pea-sized dollop of the cream, applied morning and evening with a little massage action (always work in an upwards motion) will rejuvenate your skin so that it feels healthier and brighter with a little more oomph. And couldn’t we all use a little more of that in our skincare routine?
