AT GLOW RECIPE, we believe that beauty shines brighter from a generous heart. Our goal is to use our platform to support and make an impact on communities and organizations that we are passionate about, and encourage our Glow Recipe Community to do the same.

In 2021, we pledged to donate $1,000,000 in monetary and product donations by the end of 2022 through our Glow for Good social impact program, focused on giving to causes such as diversity, equity, & inclusion and female empowerment. 2022
Building Self Confidence in Young Girls
In November, we placed donation bins across the country for our Glow Gang community to come donate their unused beauty products. These donations were then matched and sent to Project Glimmer to inspire girls to envision an empowered future.
Fighting for reproductive rights with Sister Song
In October, ahead of the midterm elections, we came together with other brands in the industry to support reproductive justice. 100% of the proceeds from the Every Body Campaign went towards supporting reproductive justice in partnership with SisterSong.

Celebrating Pride with It Gets Better & MPJI Institute
We're excited to share that for Pride Month, we've committed to donating $15K in monetary contributions to It Gets Better and $15K in product contributions to the MPJI Institute for a total of $30K. Thanks to you, our Glow community, this is all made possible with your support!
Our partnership with It Gets Better Project will help fund programs that empower LGBTQIA+ youth globally. Our donation to the Marsha P. Johnson Institute will provide the Black transgender community with our skincare as we hope to help with their skincare journey and bring positivity.
Please note that we take no proceeds from the sale of Glow with Pride Toner and all proceeds will be used for charitable purposes.
Celebrating AAPI Heritage Month
In May, we partnered with 8 of our fellow AAPI-founded brands to celebrate and offer a collection of best selling products. Through a portion of sales of this collaboration we were honored to support NYC's AAPI elderly community in the fight to end food insecurity and provide care packages of culturally thoughtful meals and groceries.
CARE's Ukraine Relief Fund
The impact of current events in Ukraine has been devastating and our hearts go out to the people of Ukraine. On March 8th, we donated $20K to non-profit organization CARE’s Ukraine Crisis Fund, an immediate crisis response to rush water, food, hygiene kits, and ongoing support for Ukrainian families.

In celebration of Black History Month on February 17th, we donated 100% of gross profits up to $25,000 to fund a product donation to the Marsha P. Johnson Institute, an organization that helps protect & defend the rights of Black trans people.

We’re joining 100 beauty brands in urging our lawmakers to take climate action. We recognize the climate crisis on our doorstep & pledge to continue our commitment to make change through our sustainability initiatives.
On September 21st, 100% of Glossy Skin Spell Kit profits on GlowRecipe.com were donated to GrowNYC, a non-profit dedicated to improving New York City's quality of life through environmental programs.

HELP FOR HAITI
In the wake of the earthquake affecting Haiti & displacing or taking the lives of over 1,900 people, we’re donating $5,000 to Doctors Without Borders.
Doctors Without Borders is a non-profit organization that helps communities in distress from natural disasters and armed conflict. Donations support treatment of those affected by funding costs of medical supplies and hospital staff.

MARSHA P. JOHNSON INSTITUTE
From June 11th through June 13, 100% of gross profits on glowrecipe.com up to $25,000 will be donated to fund a Glow Recipe product donation to the Marsha P. Johnson Institute, an organization that helps protect and defends the rights of Black trans people.
GIVEINDIA
In light of the severe impact of COVID-19’s second wave on India, we've donated to GiveIndia to support low income families affected by the pandemic.
ACT TO CHANGE
Hate toward any group is intolerable, but as a small business founded by two Asian women, we are continually distraught by the acts of violence targeting the Asian American community.
Our work as an ally to the AAPI community is never over, but in light of recent events, we’ve donated to Act to Change, Act To Change is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization working to address bullying, including in the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community & the AAPI Community Fund.
GIRLS INC.
In celebration of International Women's Day, we donated to Girls Inc., an organization inspiring girls to be strong, smart and bold through direct service and advocacy.
THE LOVELAND FOUNDATION
In honor of Black History Month, we donated to The Loveland Foundation, a foundation committed to showing up for communities of color in unique and powerful ways, with a particular focus on Black women and girls. Thanks to your generosity, our donation will amount to 208 free therapy sessions for black women & girls.
2020
PROJECT BEAUTY SHARE
Provides personal hygiene, cosmetics and beauty products to non-profit organizations who serve women and families overcoming abuse, addiction, homelessness and poverty to help restore hope and dignity in their lives.
For every Glow Together Set sold in the US, we donated $5 worth of product to Project Beauty Share and its regional alumni organizations.
BEAUTY 2 THE STREETZ
Serves the homeless by providing necessities alongside the things that make us feel inherently human: a hot shower, a hearty meal, the hope-inducing feeling of looking in the mirror and loving what you see.
On Giving Tuesday, 100% net profits were donated towards this organization-- the first nonprofit chosen by the Glow Gang.
MARSHA P. JOHNSON INSTITUTE
Helps protect & defend the rights of Black trans people, founded in honor of the iconic gay liberation activist at the center of the Stonewall Uprising.
BLACK VISIONS COLLECTIVE
Supports Black liberation in the Twin Cities metro area and through Minnesota through targeted local campaigns for reform.
DONATE BEAUTY
Facilitates beauty donations to healthcare workers on the frontlines fighting COVID-19.
NSW RURAL FIRE SERVICE
The world's largest volunteer fire service, providing fire and emergency services to over 95% of NSW. They helped fight the Australian wildfires, which burned millions of acres of land and destroyed animal habitats.

Empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

Equips girls to navigate gender, economic, and social barriers through mentoring relationships, girls-only safe spaces, and research-based programming.

CHARITY: WATER
Works with local organizations who build sustainable, community-owned water projects around the world. Through Glow Recipe's donation, we helped provide the gift of clean and safe drinking water to a community Madagascar, helping serve approximately 22,500 people with safe water.
2017
RAINN
The nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization and leading authority on sexual violence by providing services for survivors, education about sexual violence, and improving the public policy and criminal justice response to sexual violence.
