Apply a generous amount all over cleansed, moist face. After 5 minutes, gently rinse with lukewarm water for an easy, no-tug wash-off and follow with the rest of your skincare routine.
For sensitive skin types, leave on for 2 minutes and gradually increase the amount of time up to 5 minutes. Can be used daily. Slight tingling may be experienced.
Hyaluronic-infused clay is a next-generation, non-drying clay that effectively helps clear pores and hydrate skin. It’s created through a high speed shear mixing process to allow for complete dispersion of hyaluronic acid in kaolin clay, known for its pore refining powers. It’s more effective than hyaluronic acid included separately from clay, but our formula also contains free-form hyaluronic acid so it has the best of both worlds for maximum hydration.
K-beauty’s approach of incorporating typically harsh actives into a much more gentle formula was key in Watermelon Facial’s development. Our goal was to take clay (an effective but drying ingredient) and dual exfoliants (sometimes harsh for sensitive skin) and make it for all skin types so everyone can enjoy a pore-refining, non-drying treatment! We infused our clay with HA to counteract the sometimes drying effects of clay on the skin. This proprietary blend helps the facial provide a nourishing, hydrating experience in addition to the pore refining.
While it is not tested as non-comedogenic/non-acnegenic, it has effective ingredients to help acne-prone skin types. The HA-infused clay and BHA help decongest and refine the look of pores, without drying skin, while PHA and Watermelon Enzymes smooth any dead skin to avoid cell buildup. This product has been dermatologist-tested & clinically proven to improve skin hydration and minimize the appearance of pores. This product is allergy-safe & can be used on sensitive skin.
It can be used once a day for up to 5 minutes. For people with sensitive skin, we recommend using it for 2 minutes and then gradually increasing usage time.
Yes! The whipped, soft hyaluronic clay never dries down or “cakes” onto the skin and helps to hydrate. Because of this, it easily washes off.
Watermelon Facial should be used on cleansed, moist skin. So, feel free to use the mask at any time of the day after you cleanse and before the rest of your skincare routine.
We encourage you to use these products together in the same routine for an extra pore-clarifying, hydrating routine!
Every part of this packaging is recyclable. The glass jar, plastic cap, plastic inner lid, plastic spatula, and the entire carton can be recycled curbside. The plastic cap and pump can be recycled through our Terracycle program. Please rinse out the bottle before recycling!
I started using this mask everyday as the start to my morning routine. It’s literally incredible how this mask shrinks your pores.. I have large pores on my t zone and this really minimizes the look of my pores the moment I rinse it off. It’s gentle and effective. I LOVE IT!
